With vegetation drying out across the state of Wisconsin, low humidity, warmer temperatures, and windy conditions are creating a high risk of wildfires this weekend.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is warning of the danger in all 72 counties.
The D-N-R says the wildfire risk is very high in 12 counties – Adams, Florence, Langlade, Marinette, Marquette, Menominee, Oconto, Portage, Shawano, Waupaca, Waushara and Wood.
D-N-R crews have responded to 442 wildfires so far this season, with 1,600 acres burned.
No serious injuries have been reported.
