Several thousand people reportedly attended this year’s Mifflin Block Party in Madison, but authorities say the numbers were still low compared to the parties before the coronavirus pandemic.
Four people were cited for offenses like disorderly conduct, violation of a glass-free zone, and open intoxicants on a public street.
Madison police are investigating reports of property damage.
Students had been warned the city wasn’t authorizing the party and officers would strictly enforce any code violations.
The Mifflin Block Party was called off last year due to the pandemic.
