Playing three games in four nights, maybe the Bucks just ran out of gas Sunday (April 25th) at Atlanta.
The Hawks started hitting 3-pointers, claimed the lead for the first time in the fourth quarter, and beat Milwaukee 111-104.
Atlanta hit eight 3-pointers in the final seven minutes. Bogdan Bogdanovic – a player Milwaukee tried to acquire in the off-season – scored 32.
The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 31 points and 14 rebounds. Jrue Holiday also had a double-double with 19 points and 11 assists.
The defeat came one night after the Bucks had routed the 76ers 132-94.
The Bucks travel to Charlotte for a game on Tuesday. They remain in third place in the N-B-A Eastern Conference standings, three-and-a-half games behind Brooklyn.
