A 34-year-old man is facing drug charges after he was found acting erratically in Walmart parking lot in Manitowoc.
Police were dispatched to the store at 9:15 PM on Monday (April 26th) to check on a man that was said to be sitting in his car with the blinker on. The man was reportedly “freaking out” and kicking the roof of the vehicle.
When officers located the man, they determined that he was under the influence of an unknown hallucinogen of stimulant, but he denied being on any drugs.
The man claimed to be waiting for his girlfriend to get off of work, but when officers called the individual she said she knows the man but is not his girlfriend and was not going to meet him.
The man was found to be in possession of either heroin or fentanyl, as well as drug paraphernalia. He was subsequently arrested on charges of Possession of Schedule 1 and 2 Narcotic, THC, and Drug Paraphernalia.
