An outspoken group is calling on President Biden to keep his campaign promises on immigration.
Hundreds of protesters marched from Milwaukee’s south side to the Federal Building over the weekend. Marchers say they want the president to open a pathway to citizenship for people who came to the US illegally when they were children. They accuse Biden of failing to make good on his promise to help people who are looking to stay in this country permanently.
Protesters were calling for a stop to deportations, expansion of COVID-19 recovery resources for non-citizens, and for citizenship to be granted to all of them.
