Another senior has decided to return to Wisconsin volleyball this fall.
Defensive specialist Giorgia Civita took some time to get in the swing of things after transferring from Wichita State. She was still recovering from her third surgery on the same knee.
By the end of the season, Civita was an important presence on head coach Kelly Sheffield’s back row. She was also an asset from the service line.
There is still no word whether four-time All-American Dana Rettke has made firm plans for her future yet.
