A man who called police in the Village of Avoca about a woman’s death Monday afternoon has been arrested for killing her.
Police say the man called them at about 3:00 p-m.
Officer found the caller and the woman’s dead body at the scene.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice says the two people knew each other.
The homicide suspect hasn’t been identified.
The D-C-I is working with the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Avoca Police on the case.
The Wisconsin State Patrol and the State Crime Lab are also helping.
