As was expected, a Green Bay man who was arrested on arson charges is now facing even more charges.
58-year-old Thomas Smith was charged Wednesday (May 12th) after he reportedly set a storage unit on fire, and had his bail set at $50,000.
More charges were filed yesterday, including three counts of Arson to a Property Other Than a Building, two counts of Burglary, and one count each of Arson of a Building Without the Owner’s Consent, Theft of Movable Property, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Obstructing Police.
Police believe that Smith is responsible for a string of fire that occurred back in March, and when he was arrested, Smith admitted to setting the one that caused $400,000 in damage to a storage unit and what was inside.
