In an attempt to deter people from speeding on I-43, the State Patrol will have an eye in the sky today.
The aerial enforcement will only be taking place along I-43 in Sheboygan County today, and the State Patrol said that it is an attempt to keep people safe on the roadway.
Superintendent Anthony Burrell explained in a news release. “The goal is public safety through voluntary compliance with traffic laws – not to stop or cite motorists.”
Missions such as this are funded by money received from the federal government specifically for these types of operations.
