The Citizens Committee formed to help create a splash pad/ice rink in Two Rivers is continuing their work toward the construction of the attraction.
The Committee recently met to discuss the design of the pad and were aided by Park-itecture, a consulting group in Madison. City Manager Greg Buckley told Seehafer News that they “reviewed three alternative concept plans, each for Central Park West, and identified a preferred plan that would consist of a new band shelter.”
The band shelter would be moved to the north end of the park under this proposal. Buckley said that for the next step in the process, “The consultant will be further developing those designs and some preliminary cost estimates and coming back for the next committee meeting on Thursday, June 3rd.”
The public is welcome to attend any of the Committee meetings to voice your input, or you can watch them on the Two Rivers City Hall Facebook Page.
