The Whitewater Fire Department reports all three people who were on a plane that went down in the Kettle Moraine Forest Saturday night were uninjured.
Their names haven’t been released.
Authorities say the incident happened at about 9:20 PM when the pilot called 9-1-1 as his plane was going down, allowing emergency responders to locate them near the Ice Age Trail.
The single-engine plane was reportedly flying from Sheboygan to Burlington when it lost power and had to deploy its emergency parachute.
It was found 75 feet above the ground caught in the top of the trees.
The people on the plane were finally rescued safely at about 2:20 AM Sunday.
