A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he reportedly stalked a woman, and broke into her home.
Officers were dispatched to a home in the 1400 block of North 8th Street just before 6:30 PM on Sunday (May 16th) to investigate the report. The female occupant of the home told police that the 19-year-old man had been stalking her, randomly showing up at her home uninvited. At some point, he reportedly broke into the woman’s home, prompting a call to police.
While she was speaking with the police, the suspect called her phone and told her that if she screwed him, he would screw her too. He refused to tell the victim where he was but sent a Snapchat message, which updated his location on the map in the app.
Officers located him shortly after in the 1400 block of North 9th Street. They told the man he was under arrest, but he refused to follow orders until a taser was pulled.
He was cuffed and brought to the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Criminal Trespass to a Dwelling, and Felony Bail Jumping.
