Marquette junior guard Jose Perez has become the latest Golden Eagle to enter the N-C-A-A transfer portal.
The announcement first came out late last week.
Marquette head coach Shaka Smart was facing some challenges with more players than he could keep on scholarship.
Perez averaged a little over three points a game in 10 games with the Golden Eagles last season.
He had been seeing some action at the end of the campaign when he didn’t make the trip to the Big East tournament due to what were called personal reasons at the time.
There is no indication where he might be heading.
