A woman was arrested on several charges over the weekend after she allegedly hit a gas station worker in the face.
Multiple officers with the Manitowoc Police Department were sent to the Marathon Gas station, located in the 1800 block of Washington Street, at around 10:30 PM Sunday evening (May 16th) to investigate the report.
They located a man and a woman in the area and asked the woman what happened. She refused to cooperate, so the officer spoke with the victim.
She claimed she was taking the trash out when the woman walked up and hit her. She also claimed that a similar incident occurred the week prior.
While the officer was speaking with the victim, the female suspect reportedly kicked the man she was with and yelled profanities at him. She was handcuffed and placed in the back of a squad car, where she proceeded to kick the window.
The woman was charged with Disorderly Conduct, and two counts of Aggravated Assault, one with a Domestic Violence Enhancer.
