The Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Baseball team put together a strong road performance yesterday to defeat Green Bay Southwest.
The Ships topped the Trojans 5- 1 with Jacob Gallagher earning the mound victory and Ashton Portmann picking up a save.
Offensively, Bryce Erdmann went 2-3 and Noah Wech delivered the key blow, a bases-loaded triple in the top of the 5th inning.
Coach Bruce Steinbecker’s ball club improves to 6-and-2 in the FRCC, 9-and-3 overall.
The Ships return to Municipal Field on Thursday (May 20th) to face Green Bay Preble.
