Milwaukee County Judge Glen Yamahiro says he will hand down his decision in June about appointing a special prosecutor for the case involving former Wauwatosa Police Officer Joseph Mensah.
The family of Jay Anderson Junior – one of three men Mensah has killed while on duty – wants criminal charges to be filed.
The Milwaukee County district attorney ruled the June 23rd, 2016 shooting in Madison Park was justified.
Attorney Kimberly Motley argued in court Wednesday that the investigation into the shooting was flawed.
Yamahiro has scheduled his decision for June 25th.
