The American Hockey League will welcome the Milwaukee Admirals back with open arms for the coming season.
The Ads sat out last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the financial challenges it would present.
The team announced Wednesday that its home opener will be Saturday, October 16th at Panther Arena. That game is one of six dates that have been guaranteed by the A-H-L.
The Admirals haven’t skated in a game since March 11th of last year.
Admirals owner and C-E-O Harris Turer calls the last 15 months “a tremendous challenge for everyone,” but says the focus has been kept on preparing for next season.
The other guaranteed dates, so far, are December 30th, January 7th, February 5th, February 26th, and March 19th. The rest of the schedule will be filled in later.
