Bay Port won a girls softball doubleheader from Manitowoc Lincoln Saturday at the Citizen Park Youth Sports Complex.
The visiting Pirates captured the opener 11-nothing and finished the sweep with a 13-1 conquest in the second game. Kailee Ansorge had a pair of basehits in game-1 and Jordan Reilly contributed 2 singles in game-2 for the Ships, now 10-and-6 overall.
Meanwhile, at Manitowoc Lutheran, the host Lancers defeated Green Bay NEW Lutheran 12-to-1.
Both teams had only 3-hits but the Lancers benefited from 4 Blazers errors. Winning pitcher Aubrey Schleis tossed a 5-inning, 3-hitter and allowed just 1-unearned run. Jenna Lischka, Sam Siehr & Brianna Bessler each had RBI singles.
