The end of the dead period for college recruiting means the Marquette coaching staff – Shaka Smart, DeAndre Haynes, Neill Berry and Cody Hatt – are about to hit the road.
They can start making in-person recruiting visits today (June 1st).
No more Zooms, or at least a lot fewer, and the coaches can travel to high school gymnasiums to see the players workout instead of depending on submitted videos.
Smart says the Golden Eagles program has a one-page document that describes the players he is looking for.
He says official and unofficial visits are already being scheduled.
