Bail is set at $1500 recognizance for an 18-year-old Manitowoc man who’s accused of attempting to trade marijuana dabs for a beer at a local bar.
Joshua C. Gadzinski-Smith is charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana, his Second Offense, Disorderly Conduct, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
Police responded to a call from the Tenth Street Pub over the Memorial Day Weekend on a weapons call. The caller claimed Gadzinski-Smith had a gun and left the premises.
A Bartender told police that he entered the bar asking for a beer. After being denied service because he was underage, Gadzinski-Smith allegedly said he’d trade dabs, a concentrated form of marijuana, for the beer. After telling him and his friend to leave an argument ensued outside the bar.
No one was hurt, and no gun was found but the Manitowoc man was found to be in possession of brass knuckles, and he was taken into custody.
Conditions of bail are that Gadzinski-Smith have no contact with the Tenth Street Pub, not possess any weapon of any kind, and maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol. His initial appearance is scheduled for June 21st at 1:30 PM.
