Wisconsin’s governor won’t rule out the possibility he might just veto the entire state budget.
The Republican-led Joint Finance Committee is currently working on a final version of the two-year spending plan.
Governor Tony Evers told reporters Tuesday it’s too early to say for sure whether he would take the drastic step of vetoing the entire plan for Wisconsin state government spending.
Earlier this year, lawmakers rejected all of the Democratic governor’s proposals and started work from scratch.
