Multiple reports indicate Wisconsin’s deputy athletic director, Chris McIntosh, will be taking over the top job and replacing Barry Alvarez.
The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents is meeting at 9:00 this morning (June 2nd) to approve the contract.
McIntosh was an All-American offensive tackle for the Badgers in 1999, then became a first-round draft pick for the Seattle Seahawks.
He has been with U-W Athletics since 2014 and has been deputy athletic director for the last four years.
Alvarez will retire at the end of this month after 17 years leading U-W sports.
