The Manitowoc Lincoln boys baseball team scored 2-runs in the bottom of the 6th to snap a 2-all tie and go on to defeat visiting Green Bay Southwest 4-to-2.
The Senior Night game was delayed for about 30 minutes in the 6th inning due to a thundershower. When it resumed, Brock Peterson hit a sacrifice fly and D.J. Cookle delivered an insurance run on an RBI single.
Noah Wech earned a save by retiring the side in the top of the 7th. The winning pitcher was Aiden Buck as the Ships improve to 12-&-7, 9-and-6 in league play.
They’ll host Bay Port this afternoon (June 4th).
In the Big East Conference, Reedsville was an 8-3 winner over host Cedar Grove-Belgium.
Tristan Eichhorst led the Panthers’ offense going 2-for-3 with 3-RBI’s.
