At the Big East Conference Track and Field Meet Monday, Manitowoc Lutheran winds up as the runnerup at Kohler.
The Lancers came away with 89-points & ‘4’ conference titles: 2 by Brooklyn Luebke who won the 3200 meters and set a new school record in the 1600 Meter with a time of 5:27. MonRaye Ermis captured the shot put with a throw of 35-feet, 7.75 inches.
The 4-by-4 relay team was composed of Emily Marohn, Kallie Fells, Peyton Luebke, and Brooklyn Luebke. Coach Abbey Bubolz tells us that Brooklyn was named female track athlete of the meet in a vote of the coaches. Meanwhile, Ben Thoma led the boys’ team, which finished 13th with 17-points, with a 2nd place finish in the 300-hurdles in 42.25 seconds.
