Kiel banged out 16 hits yesterday en route to a 15-to-1 rout of Reedsville in Boys High School Baseball.
The visiting Raiders led just 3-to-1 until they exploded for 12 runs in the top of the 5th inning. Keenan Manz was the winning pitcher, allowing 6 hits and an earned run with no walks and 8 strikeouts.
Panthers starter Cole Yohanek suffered the loss. Brennen Hynek went 2-for-2 with an RBI in a losing effort. D. Schmitz had a pair of doubles as part of a 3-for-3 performance and 3 RBI’s to lead Kiel.
