Two men arrested in connection with a purported shots fired incident early Wednesday morning appeared in Manitowoc County Circuit for bail hearings this afternoon.
26-year-old Peter N. Jones is free on a $1000 recognizance bond on a charge of Felony Bail Jumping while Ravon S. Brown —also 26– remains in the County Jail on a $300 cash bond on six charges of Felony Bail Jumping.
Manitowoc Police received a call of gunfire coming from the 1000 block of Madison Street. Officers set up a perimeter around a residence in the 1300 block of South 12th Street with three women along with Jones and Brown exiting the home without incident.
Authorities found no evidence of shots being fired. Jones was taken into custody for being intoxicated as he was under court order to maintain absolute sobriety. His initial court appearance is scheduled for July 12 while Brown is due back in court for his Initial appearance June 14th.
