Nichole “Nikki” M. (Gagnon) Hunter, age 37, a resident of Two Rivers, and formerly of Manitowoc, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at her residence.
Nikki was born on May 18, 1984 in Two Rivers to Price Waninger and Lisa Gagnon. After attending Washington High School in Two Rivers, she began her journey in life finding her footing in adulthood and entered the workforce all while being a loving mother. Nikki was currently employed at Lakeshore Latching in Manitowoc. She was a member of Lighthouse Recovery Community Center in Manitowoc where she also mentored those fighting addiction. Nikki had a rare light in her that caused the darkness in others to go away. She was spunky and always had a way of putting a smile on your face and making you laugh. Her smile and laugh could always change your mood for the better. Nikki was a very honest and caring person who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it and always put others before herself. She was a loving mother who cherished and adored her children. Nikki enjoyed spending her time writing poetry, journaling, and creating arts and crafts. She was a talented artist and had a gift for drawing. Nikki will always be loved and remembered for all of who she truly was and will remain in our hearts.
Nikki is survived by her three children, Bailey, Ashlynn, and Nikolai; mother, Lisa (Gagnon) Kluczinske, Two Rivers; father, Price Waninger, Manitowoc; brother, Matthew Gagnon; sister, Cortney Tomchek and her fiancée, Christian Juenger, Newton; the fathers of her children, Adam Keil, Derek Hunter, and Cody Breuninger (her significant other); aunt, Tracy (Robert) Shemenkowski, Cleveland; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Deacon Rich Bahnaman will officiate with cremation to take place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel at a later date. Following the funeral service, a dinner will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
