Wisconsin leaders are saying the state’s economic recovery will start in local communities.
Almost 500 people gathered a Lambeau Field Thursday for the annual New North Summit Thursday.
Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation C-E-O Missy Hughes says she’s optimistic about the state’s recovery from the damage done by the coronavirus pandemic.
Hughes says it had a major impact on small businesses.
She told the crowd the W-E-D-C has distributed more than $650-million in $150,000 grants for small businesses.
