Only a week after Governor Tony Evers announced his plans for reelection, a former Sheboygan City Alderman has thrown his hat into the ring.
Job Edmond Hou-Seye served on the Sheboygan City Council from 2015 through 2017 and has attempted to claim a seat on the State Assembly three times. He was unsuccessful each time.
Hou-Seye will run directly against Governor Evers as a Democrat on the platform of prison and marriage reform. Hou-Seye wants to establish an Inmates Bill of Rights, and believes that plural marriages deserve the same state protections that gay marriages do.
The only Republican to voice interest in the Governorship is small business owner Johnathan Wichmann.
