Sun Prairie police say officers on patrol Sunday morning heard two gunshots at about 3:20 a-m.
A quick investigation determined the shots came during an incident involving three people.
Officers say Harry P. Clincy was taken into custody on charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and a parole violation.
The names of the other two people involved weren’t released and no injuries were reported.
Investigators say the shooting incident wasn’t connected to an earlier report of shots fired in another Sun Prairie neighborhood.
