U-S Senator Ron Johnson says the company’s actions show YouTube has too much unaccountable power.
The Wisconsin Republican has been suspended from uploading videos to YouTube for seven days.
Johnson is accused of violating its COVID-19 “medical misinformation policies.”
During a June 3rd event at the Milwaukee Press Club Johnson was taped criticizing the Trump and Biden administrations for working against the use of cheap, generic drugs to treat the virus.
YouTube doesn’t let content be loaded that encourages the use of Hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.
