For the first time since late last month, and only the second time since early April, the Manitowoc County Health Department reported no new cases of COVID-19 yesterday (June 14th).
The pandemic total remains at 7,650, while the death toll stayed at 72. The number of people hospitalized did rise by one to 15 however.
In more good news, 417 more vaccines were administered yesterday in Manitowoc County. Of those, 134 were first dose shots, bringing the total number of shots given up to 68,232, with 36,392 of those being first doses.
Roughly 46.1% of County residents have received a shot, compared to roughly 49.1% of Wisconsinites.
Meanwhile, in Sheboygan County, 4 new cases were added by the Division of Public Health, along with 8 new recoveries. This brings their pandemic totals up to 13,874 confirmed cases, 13,679 recoveries, and leaves 48 cases active.
Their death toll also did not change, remaining at 147.
