The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an elderly woman whose body was found in a garage Monday morning.
Deputies were called to the home west of Janesville at about 5:30 AM. The victim’s body had been found by a person who went to that home to check on her. A second person who was found inside the home was taken into custody as a person of interest in the death. Investigators say the dead woman, the person who called 9-1-1, and the person taken into custody are all related.
