Playing without Kyrie Irving and alongside a gimpy James Harden, Brooklyn’s Kevin Durant delivered a dominating performance with 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists Tuesday night.
The Nets had to rally in the fourth period to wipe out Milwaukee’s six-point edge and take game five by a 114-108 score.
Brooklyn leads the series three games to two.
Jeff Green came off the bench to score 27.
The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 34 points and 12 rebounds. Khris Middleton scored 25.
Harden played 45 minutes but missed all eight 3-point attempts, was one-for-10 from the field, and scored just five points.
The series returns to Milwaukee Thursday night with the Nets needing just one more win to move on to the Eastern Conference finals.
