There is a sense of déjà vu with the Manitowoc County COVID-19 reports, as for the sixth time this month, only two new cases were added by the Health Department yesterday (June 15th).
That brings the pandemic total up to 7,652, while the death toll remained stagnant at 72, where it has been since May 28th.
On the vaccination front, the ebbs and flows continue as 134 shots were given out yesterday, with only 50 of those being first doses. In total 68,366 shots have been administered, with 36,442 of those being first doses.
In Sheboygan County, not only were there no new cases reported, but their total number of cases also went down.
As has happened previously with the death toll, the individual that tested positive was found to not be a resident of Sheboygan County, so their positive test was taken off of the Division of Public Health’s count and transferred to their County of residence.
There were no new recoveries either, so the pandemic totals no sit at 13,873 confirmed cases, 13,679 recoveries, and 47 cases remain active.
There were no new deaths, leaving that total at 147.
