The Cincinnati Reds managed only two hits off four Milwaukee pitchers Tuesday night but still managed to squeak out a 2-1 win in 10 innings.
Brett Anderson started for the Brewers, limiting the visiting Reds to one hit and one walk in seven scoreless innings.
Both teams were still scoreless after nine.
Brad Boxberger gave up two runs in the 10th, then the Brewers put one on the board, but couldn’t tie it up and lost to Cincinnati for the second straight night.
Daniel Robertson drove in Milwaukee’s only run.
The Brewers will try to salvage the third game of the series this afternoon.
Freddy Peralta is scheduled to start in a game you can hear on 107.9 FM WOMT and at WOMTRadio.com starting at 12:35 PM.
