The Manitowoc Lincoln Doubles team of Senior Aiden Newberg and Junior Logan Anderson are through to the quarterfinals of the WIAA Division One Individual Boys State Tennis Tournament in Eau Claire.
The sixteenth seed in the tournament defeated an unseeded junior tandem from Stevens Point –Luke Hinchcliffe and Colten Thielman– in straight sets this morning 6-2 and 6-3.
They began play yesterday defeating Hudson Menne and Rohan Gala of Bayport 6-1 and 6-2. They improve to 17 and 2 and later this afternoon play the top seed in seniors Sam Kredell and Nick Tiahnybik of Arrowhead who are undefeated in 26 matches this year.
