Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander and wide receiver Allen Lazard have been named to the so-called “Best N-F-L Team Money Can Buy.”
Media researcher Anthony Holzman-Escareno listed the lineup of the best team he could piece together using existing cap hits that still fit under the 2021 salary cap – in other words, players who offer the most bang for the buck.
Alexander has quickly earned a reputation as a shutdown corner and his cap hit is just $3.83 million.
Lazard has a paycheck of $850,000 for the upcoming season and is valuable as a receiver and a special teams player.
Holzman-Escareno also named veteran running back Aaron Jones, wide receiver Dante Adams, nose tackle Kenny Clark, and offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins as Packers players to produce well above their salaries.
