A 10-year-old girl has died after emergency responders pulled her out of Lake Michigan Saturday evening.
Several agencies were called to Zoo Beach in Racine at about 6:30 PM.
The child was found 25 minutes later and rushed to a hospital where she died.
At almost the same time, crews were called to North Beach in Racine.
Rescuers found a 17-year-old boy about 200 yards off the shore.
He was taken to a hospital where he was reported to be in critical condition.
No names have been released in either of the incidents.
