Friday’s strong storms weakened a barn in southern Wisconsin, leading it to collapse with 100 cows inside.
Members of the Belleville Volunteer Fire Department were called to the farm in the Town of Exeter at about 4:10 a-m.
They found the structure had blown over.
Firefighters from three departments and other emergency responders helped free the trapped cows.
A least one of the animals died.
There was no word on how badly the other cows were injured.
