A Milwaukee County judge has decided to delay his decision on whether to charge former Wauwatosa police officer Joseph Mensah.
Judge Glenn Yamahiro was scheduled to decide Friday but has pushed back the date to July 28th.
The family of one of three men shot to death by Mensah while he was on duty wants the judge to charge him after prosecutors decided his actions were justified.
Jay Anderson Junior was sitting in a car in Wauwatosa five years ago when he was killed.
Judge Yamahiro will hear witness testimony before deciding whether to issue charges directly against Mensah.
