It was a productive weekend for two University of Wisconsin track athletes and a swimmer.
Zack Ziemek qualified for his second Olympics by finishing third in the decathlon at the U-S Trials in Eugene, Oregon. He placed seventh at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro.
Georgia Ellenwood set a personal best in the heptathlon, earning the right to represent Canada.
And, 18-year-old U-W freshman Phoebe Bacon earned a spot on the U-S Olympic team by qualifying in the 200-meter backstroke. She just won the N-C-A-A title in that event in March.
