The Milwaukee Bucks are being given the edge to take out Atlanta and win the Eastern Conference Finals starting tonight (June 23rd)).
A big reason is how well the Bucks play on the homecourt. After putting up a 26-and-10 home record in the regular season, they’ve won five straight in the playoffs.
The Hawks, meanwhile, have had their troubles on the road.
Even with a roaring crowd, defense will be a big factor for the team that wins the series. Atlanta has to figure out how to slow down Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Meanwhile, the challenge of defending the Hawks’ Trae Young will be very different from defending Kevin Durant of the Nets. It probably means coach Mike Budenholzer will go with a small lineup most of the time.
