A federal grand jury has indicted a former Suring village official on three child sexual assault charges.
36-year-old John Fredenburgh was already facing state charges.
If convicted on the newest charges he could face up to 40 years in prison.
Fredenburgh is scheduled to return to state court next month – where he has pleaded not guilty.
So far, no appearances have been scheduled in federal court.
