The owner of the building where the Whiting Paper Mill operated is going to get a $235,000 invoice for tearing the building down.
Members of the Menasha City Council decided to move ahead on plans to demolish the structure at a meeting earlier this week.
It burned last month.
The building owners haven’t paid taxes on the structure in four years, running up a bill of about $700,000.
Investigators say they are following several leads about the May 2nd fire.
