Wisconsin golfer Steve Stricker built a 10-stroke lead Sunday at the Bridgestone Senior Players Championship, but more than half of it melted away before he finally won.
Stricker three-putted for a bogey on 10, then had a double-bogey on the 12th hole.
The Madison pro saw his lead shrink to just three shots after two more bogeys.
Stricker turned it around with a birdie and wound up four strokes ahead of Jerry Kelly – the tournament’s defending champion and another golfer from Wisconsin.
