The Manitowoc Bandits blanked the Ashwaubenon Lookouts 6-0 Friday night (June 25th).
Coach Chris Cisler tells us that righthander Luke Mandich threw a complete-game shutout, needing only 88-pitches. Mandich scattered 6-hits and struck out 10.
The Bandits are scheduled to return to action tonight at Municipal Field where they host the Algoma Guins.
First pitch is at 7:30.
In Minor League Baseball Sunday (June 27th), the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers swept a doubleheader from the Peoria Chiefs by scores of 6-to-2 and 6-to-5.
In game-1, Justin Bullock tossed a complete game, the first by a Timber Rattler pitcher in almost 4-years.
