A Milwaukee father who killed his five-year-old son over a slice of cake has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
When officers were called to a home on Father’s Day in 2019 they found the child dead.
Travis Stackhouse entered a guilty plea to three felony charges last month, including second-degree reckless homicide, child neglect, and child abuse-intentional causing harm.
The victim’s caretakers first reported he had fallen down some stairs, but police didn’t believe that.
Stackhouse later admitted he punched his son in the stomach and then the face before he ate a piece of the father’s cheesecake.
