President Joe Biden switched his message for Tuesday’s visit to La Crosse.
Biden had originally been scheduled to visit the Cates Family Farm in a rural area near Spring Green with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
Instead, the president was by himself when he made an appearance at the La Crosse Municipal Transit Utility.
The topic was changed, too.
Instead of agriculture, Biden’s message focused on infrastructure and the benefits of his $973-billion plan announced last week.
In addition to bridge and road repairs, it will create a network of electric vehicle charging stations, eliminate lead service lines and pipes, and expand high-speed internet service nationwide.
