The Calumet County Sheriff’s Department has stated that a stretch of Highway 151 is open again this morning (July 1st) following a large barn fire overnight.
Firefighters from multiple departments were called to a farm along Town Hall Road near Chilton about 1:30 am, resulting in the closure of 151, between Salm Road and Minahan Road for about 7-hours.
Sheriff’s officials alert motorists to use caution in that area because firefighters were still working at the scene at last report.
No details are available on the dollar loss or the cause of the fire.
